Gavin Tanner (Matt Lovkis) is Western Australia's crappiest weed dealer and wannabe hero, who's utterly convinced he's the biggest legend in his hometown of Balladeen. When Gavin meets his new neighbour Marshall (Adam Zwar), he believes they are destined to be best mates, even though they have nothing in common. But when Marshall befriends Gavin's girlfriend Trish (Emily Rose Brennan) instead, Gavin resolves to break the union and claim Marshall for himself.

Seventeen years after Gavin & Stacey begun, the series comes to an end with a 90-minute finale. Before the final episode, the last we saw of Nessa and Smithy was in the 2019 Christmas special, where Nessa went down on one knee, asking Smithy to marry her. The film takes place in late 1941 in Transcarpathia. Soviet paratroopers landed on the territory occupied by the Hortists. Of the six, only Olexa Borkanyuk manages to bypass the ambush. However, the Nazis, taking local people hostage, threaten to punish them if he doesn't voluntarily surrender. For the sake of saving the lives of people, Olexa goes to the camp of the enemy. The film is based on real facts from the life of the writer and journalist, Hero of the Soviet Union Olexa Borkanyuk.

A Hungarian explorer claims to have discovered a "Gold Library" inside a cave. Lacking evidence, he tries to get the recognition he believes he deserves but struggles to get support from the local governments and religious leaders.
